Each bellows solution is one-of-a-kind.

Bellows consist of moveable bellows tubing which looks like an accordion and two connecting elements for anchoring the bellow to a base. They protect axial-motion rods and also protect machine parts from dirt, sprayed water, dust and from the effects of weather.

Depending on their design, bellows can be used to absorb lateral or offset movement or in applications where various types of motion are encountered, such as in gear units.

The Simrit range offers a selection of over 470 different bellows geometries which can be shipped quickly with without any tooling costs. There are over 250 sizes which can be shipped immediately from stock.

Bellows manufactured using specialized materials

Bellows can be manufactured using a variety of specialized materials, e.g. VMQ, FKM, EDPM, HNBR or SBR. Please consult our materials database for more information.

Steering boots

These multi-convolution bellows feature a modified geometry for protecting steering linkages found in agricultural implements and construction machinery. The primary material used is TPE as well as CR.

Sealing boots

Sealing boots are single-convolution bellows primarily used with ball joints on steering linkages and vehicle chassis. These bellows are primarily made of CR.

Drive-shaft bellows

Drive shaft bellows ensure continuous lubrication and provide a reliable seal the leakage of grease or ingress of dirt. They are used in the front or rear wheel drive of construction machinery, utility vehicles and in general carmaking industry applications. The preferred materials are CR and TPE.

Universal cable bushing

The universal cable bushing is a bellow with a flexible connection system: Using a graduated connection diameter allows various cable diameters to be sealed using a universal cable bushing. Cable bushings are located wherever cables, Bowden cables or similar equipment must be guided through a room partition, protecting the interior room from dirt, dust, water and hazardous materials.

Disk bellows

An extension ratio of 1:16 can be achieved through the use of disk bellows. These bellows have a compact, cylindrical shape of minimal length when retracted.

The extreme extension length of our solution from its block-shaped dimension allows functional seals for machine parts moving along a straight line with a long displacement stroke.

Freely selectable connection sizes and number of convolutions allows Simrit to offer bellows solutions of nearly any configuration with no additional tooling costs.
