The Simmerring - A Proven Favorite for Advanced Solutions

April 2007: Simmerring solutions build their success on flexible compliance with changing specifications. Simmerring shaft seals with low-friction properties or made from new materials are only a few examples of this versatility. However, one feature will always be found in Simmerring solutions —performance efficiency and operational reliability.

Simmerring® PTS - Poly Tech Seal

Our Simmerring® PTS (Poly Tech Seal) products can combine PTFE, elastomer and steel materials to achieve more property requirements. These characteristics allow the Simmerring® PTS to maintain an optimal seal even when there is a change in rotational direction or static conditions as well as making it suitable in applications using biologically degradable and synthetic lubricants or HFC pressure fluids. In addition, Simmerring® PTS is far superior to common PTFE, with friction reduced by up to 50%.

The Simmerring® ESS Energy Saving Seal

With the cost of energy constantly increasing, the time has come for an energy-saving seal: Simmerring® ESS. Simmerring® ESS reduces friction and resulting power dissipation in industrial power drives, power tools (especially battery-driven devices) and engines, reducing energy consumption. At the same time the reliability and longevity of the seal is substantially increased.

Simmerring® CTI — Central Tire Inflation

Tire pressure control systems used in agricultural and construction machinery enhance a vehicle's tractive force by adapting the system pressure in response to the type of terrain. The Simmerring® CTI is designed to increase service life so that systems can maintain a tight seal longer—even under extreme pressure conditions.

Simmerring® with Non-woven PTFE Lining

The novel approach of Simmerring® solutions with non-woven PTFE lining is their PTFE impregnation which provides protection against contamination. This ensures that exceptional functional reliability is achieved in soil-intensive applications which are exposed to contaminants such as mud, salt water or sand. This solution also ensures excellent friction reduction properties.

Simmerring COMBI Seal SF 19

Seals must successfully withstand extreme axial motions encountered in transmission applications with drive shafts. The Simmerring COMBI Seal SF 19 is designed specifically for this purpose. It can adjust to accommodate considerable shaft displacement as well. Rubber wipers also provide protection against contamination and increase seal longevity.
